I remember him saying a while ago that since he got on twitter and facebook, he found it either redundant or a better way to interact with his fans. The last thing he did that was similar to "Ask Al" was that UStream Chat from when "Craigslist" came out and the Billboard/Twitter Q&A thing from last fall. I thought he said this on his old Myspace blog, but I just checked and he didn't mention this so it must've been the Ustream chat where he said it.

I believe Bermuda once said there were a lot of redundant questions, so it was difficult to sift through them to find any worth answering.

Cool, thank you both. Yeah, I kinds thought that with FB and its ilk that maybe AskAl was no longer needed. I also thought it was me constantly sending him questions that drove him away.
