i started rewriting last night and i forgot to bring it to school today so i can't post anything today. But i don't know how much i can do tonight because i am going to the doctor and out to other place.

okay, so this hasn't been updated in forever, but I love to write, so i decided to post. I wrote a serious Harry Potter fanfic and Al is in it. It's an AU about how Al adopted this girl, and she's a witch. She gets taken away by these really evil people and sent to England and yea... if you'd like to read it i'm probably going to post it on ff.net as soon as the sequal is done and it's typed.

an AU is an Alternate Universe, basically it means that you can say things about real people that didn't really happen, to make the story better. Like in my story, Al adopts a little girl, that didn't happen in real life, but it makes my story better!

Well, theoretically, shouldn't every story be an AU?

not if its a fanfic, because half the time people are writing about whats going to happen in the future. so, if we're writing sequals to movies or books, and we write about something that we want to happen, it's not an AU.
for example in my story, Al adopts a little girl back in like '92 or '93. as we all know, that didn't happen. so it's an AU.

I've written lots of Al poems (see my topic under Fan Creativity/Al-inspired poetry), but the only time he's appeared in my fiction is in my screenplay...he's not actually named; I just used him as inspiration during some fantasy scenes! The screenplay is yet to be produced, but if the movie ever gets made, I look forward to telling Al that he inspired all the heroine's romantic fantasies! He sure has inspired lots of mine over the years! OK, I'll shut up now, before you boot me to the Drool Topic, which is where I usually post anyway!
