There are too many singles to make only one survivor poll, so I decided to split it out by decade. This topic will only include singles released in the 1980s. A couple of notes: "My Bologna" was released in 1979, Al's only single from the 1970s decade. However since it didn't have a picture sleeve, it doesn't qualify for a cover survivor poll, so the whole thing is moot. "Christmas At Ground Zero", "I Think I'm A Clone Now" and "Isle Thing" were not issued with picture sleeves or covers, so they will not be included in the poll as there is nothing to judge. Technically "Dare To Be Stupid" is the B-side to Stan Bush's "The Touch" but I decided to include it for completeness, and because side B has its own artwork. And finally, singles released internationally were sometimes released with different cover artwork. Whenever possible, I will include international versions of the artwork if they differ from the U.S. version.
Also, because there are many more choices than usual, during the early rounds, you will be allowed to vote for up to three choices each round to help avoid ties. However only the cover(s) with the highest amount of votes at the end of each round will be eliminated. Also each round will last only 24 hours to keep the game moving.
Also, thanks for reading all that.
