Hey, I've had some bad luck when it comes to running games in the past but how about we do a Weakest Link game which is a cross between Millionaire and Survivor for those of you who haven't seen it.

You get an Al-related question (for $100) and the next person (in order) answers it and then the next person can choose to bank the money they have or go for even more money. After every round a person is voted off. I'm not sure of the exact rules but I think it would be really fun! Anyone want to attempt this? Elvis? Anth? Bruce? Anyone?

The only thing is that the TV game is mostly based on time and I don't know a good way to emulate that on the forum.

I use 24 hours for millionaire. No answer and it's considered wrong. You could do that, it would keep the game moving yet still give people time to get here and answer. I'm not sure how you'd time each round, unless you say each round lasts a week(too long? 5 days? 3 days?) regardless of how many or few questions you get through in that time. The other option is to set a number of questions per round (2 each?, more per later rounds?) and just do it that way.

The hardest part is going to be thinking up enough questions to play a full game.

And that's why I'm not going to do it. I'm HORRIBLE at thinking up trivia questions, you saw Weird Al Jeopardy...

That seems too complicated for me to run, for the reasons Elvis stated. Plus, I'm not as good as Elvis at coming up with good trivia questions.

So Elvis? Do you want to try? Maybe you could just help out with the rules and then one of the other fine obsessees can take over.

Well I'm still trying to find someone to win millionaire so that they can take over as Regis.

But after that I can probably give it a shot if no one else wants to do it.

I'm not really sure of all of the rules of the real Weakest Link game either, so I'll have to catch it on TV first and watch at least one game, or see if there's an online Weakest Link game I can play to familiarize myself with the rules.

Anyway, if someone wants to host in the meantime, I can probably help out with the questions or wherever needed.

I could tell you the rules. I don't think it's on TV anymore. But I wouldn't want to host it.
