Comedy Central Special, DVD/Blu-Ray Release

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

Yeah, they look different. They sound pretty much the same. I just noticed during most of the songs it shows the band more, which I love, so I'm not complaining about the differences!
If everyone was like Weird Al, wouldn't this world be so much more enjoyable?

My drummer has been an Al fan since '83 when it all began and I showed him the new DVD on Saturday night, he'd never seen the whole Al thing live so I even showed him the costume change clips on my computer and he loved it all, especially the Kieth Richards interview. Also because his favorite album was Dare To Be Stupid I added in DTBS, One More Minute, Like A Surgeon, which he laughed but didn't like the truth or dare version of, also showed him Bedrock Anthem and he rocked right out. In the end, he was like wow, they are one of the greatest bands, and they put on one hell of an epic show. Oh yeah, I also showed him the old medley right after the new medley cause I knew he'd love Jeopardy, Rabbi and the better version of Eat It. In the end , he'll definitely be coming to the next show with me here in Ottawa.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electic guitars!!

I have a big crack in my disc. The casing for the DVD is too snug and has no push button and when you take the disc out it bends a bit, and mine cracked yesterday. From the hole in the center to the part of the disc it reads, so luckily it still plays right now but I gotta pick up another copy this week for back-up! They have one at the CD shop they're holding for me, gotta spend another 22.99 unfortunately but its Al and I dont wanna have a copy that eventually stops working if the crack gets any bigger.

I've gone through 2 copies of UHF because of that. I have not had a working UHF movie in quite a few years. I am hoping to find a good new copy this year for christmas

For the next one, you could maybe get another case for it, and swap it all over.

It'd stop the cracking and all that.

Finally watched this last night, and now I'm going through it again! This single frame was my (2nd) favorite moment in the whole show due to a minor scene stealer (my favorite moment was the missing verse in "Smells Like Teen Spirit").

Comedy Central has the special available for viewing On Demand (at least, whomever has Comcast), through February 5th, for free.

This show is replaying on Comedy Central tonight from 3:30-4:30AM ET. Turn it on in your drunken stupors and watch me(in my jersey, a couple rows back, right side)...or just watch Al.
