I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but since it is about the song UHF, this is as good a place as any.

File this under "Everyone knows this but me," I was listening to the UHF soundtrack from the actual CD tonight, which I guess I never have done before... See I usually listen on my computer and when I was downloading songs from the CD to the HD, if it was already there I didn't put duplicates on.

So I never heard the extra instrumental stuff until tonight. I knew it existed, but I figured it was one of those rarities I'd have to track down someday. I know, CD... if I'd just consult the Songography, I'd know this stuff...

So I had a stealth first listen. What a serendipitous treat!

I never wondered about the royalties for Looney Tunes, but I always did wonder where they got teh production budget to make a whole series of prime-time shows. Even just using friends as hosts, the productions still had prizes/prize money to offer, techs, cameras (Noodles and Philo couldn't handle it all), sets, designers, first aid personnel, etc. etc. etc.

Probably by selling commercials. Some people probably couldn't afford Channel 8's ad rates, and went to U62.

While I was watching the "Wheel of Fish" segment at the concert the other day, I was wondering what happened to Kuni's karate school while he was shooting for UHF. Did he close the school down in order to appear in Wheel of Fish?

Well, he still taught Karate on "The Weird Al Show"... ;)

True.

And R.J. Fletcher went on to become mayor of an unknown town where apparently it doesn't rain very much.

Bob gave up his role as Bob-o The Clown to become a miner.

Local shop teacher Joe Early became a veternarian and later got some job in a office that required him to use a computer.

Any others?

Wasn't he a pet psychologist?

Yeah, that's it. Whatever. I knew it had to do with pets.
