Okay. "One flesh," different clothes.

But let's not get too insistent here about imposing first-century standards of gender-appropriate attire, or Al will be one verse away from a haircut. And we don't want to go there. :nervous:

So perhaps the Album's a Simpson's Tribute?

Mmmm... (coughing)... see, the problem is that I actually don't like Simpsons too much. :( No, it's OK with some episodes, but in general...rather no than yes. Sorry. I'm just quite a honest person.
... but maybe it would be Al who will change my opinion, who knows!?

Seva, I'm not a huge Simson's fan either. But if you think about it, a lot of bands over the years have appeared on TS. So if Al just picked the bands that appeared as the basis of his album, it wouldn't have to get too Simpson-y. Also, it wouldn't have to include Eminem. Or has he been to Springfield?

Al will be one verse away from a haircut. And we don't want to go there.

No, we certainly don't want to go there. A world without Yanko-curls? Perish the thought!

That's okay, Seva. I'm not big on the Simpsons much of lately either. I use to be a real big fan, but I still watch it every once and a while nowadays.

Naturally, I'll definitely watch it for Al on there! My VCR is ready.

Do you think there will be a song related to a poodle or a dog?

OK, picture this...
We find out later that Al and the gang, taking full advantage of our curious nature, find a loop hole where an artist can change the name of an upcoming album as close as 2 weeks from the release date so they tell the record companies "poodle hat" as a joke on internet leaking fans such as US! Then 2 weeks before the album comes out they announce the real name, leaving us all gasping for breath and feeling rather silly.
I wouldn't put it past 'em if they actually found some loop hole like that. However, I'm sure it's all pure rubbish! Fun what happens when a twisted mind goes on a thinking spree :)

Probably not. Most ALbums don't have a title track: WAY, In 3-D (but it's mentioned in "Nature Trail to Hell"), Even Worse, Off the Deep End, Alapalooza, Bad Hair Day, Running with Scissors. His four latest albums don't have title tracks.

But don't quote me on that.

And JK, I wouldn't be surprised. Lots of artists and film studios create fake titles for albums and movies in case something gets leaked out.

You know, that thought has crossed my mind. If the Album is named after one of the songs, surely Al wouldn't release it to the public yet and steal his own thunder. Especially since so many of his songs have the punch line in the title.

I can imagine the conversation with the publicity team going something like this:

Publicity guy (in a suit): Mr. Yankovic, we have to get started. We need to have a title for the tour. You know there are flyers and tickets to be printed...

Al (wearing a tasteful Hawaiian print shirt): I'm gonna call it.... hmm.... (looking around for inspiration, seeing Nina's cute little hat)

Image

ummmm..... POODLE HAT! That's right, it's THE POODLE HAT TOUR! (breaking into that Mad Weird Al over the top laugh that he does) HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Or something like that...
