Dave, That's some championship surfing!

You know, Bela was in the studio, but Al's not wearing her as a hat...http://www.weirdal.com/album11b.htm

I guess we now know what became of all the unsuccessful students of the Poodle Flying School

I think it's true (not that I doubted you, Dave... but it's not at wa.com yet, or is it? - nope, it's not.) check out the update of Al's Rider at http://www.paradiseartists.com

Woo Hoo.

It's always sort of interesting, getting that virtual backstage peek by reading the tour rider. That "No lasagna!" bit and the part about cash payment in advance suggest things Al's people have learned the hard way, don't they? But I wonder what's wrong with Dasani water.

Looks like either "Smells Like Nirvana" is still in the set, or else we're going to be treated to poodle dancers.

It's not French is it?

I should have known it wouldn't be such a political reason anyway. Aside from the fact that Coca-Cola products generally suck, maybe he just doesn't like it.

More likely, OE stumbled upon the reason...

Okay, I've done a little web-surfing (on water, for a change!)

Dasani is tap water as filtered, bottled, and marketed by Coca-Cola. And there's at least one scurrilous report on the Internet to suggest that their microbe-eradication efforts are sometimes inadequate.

Maybe now we know where Al found part of his creative inspiration.

They're ridin' inside my car
They're swimmin' in my drink

hahahahaha- "beret of poodle on my noodle...."
That's hilarious- That's gotta be where he came up with that name......unless it refers to their 2001 Holiday card.....

So perhaps the Album's a Simpson's Tribute?

You know, it occurs to me that we only know the name of the Tour. Maybe not the name of the Album.

Actually Scotti, wasn't the first link that Dave posted for the album release?

Right you are, Jk. I guess in the excitement I missed the first link and only saw the second one. So here's the $27 question... if this really is the Album Name, and the release date is on 5/20/03 then why is wa.com being so suspenseful?

I keep thinking about a couple of things Bermuda said... Don't jump to conclusions and there is going to be a big surprise. Maybe all the folks posting the album release date as 5/20 are just plain wrong? Time will tell, but if Jon has been telling us the truth (and I have no doubt that he is) as of 3/20 the parodies were not even recorded. So the band is gonna have to burn some major midnight oil to get stuff done on time. Of course, as Jon also said, that's not to say it couldn't be done...

Ow. My head hurts....

Poodle Hat. A play off of Cat In The Hat? After all, Nina has a poodle, to my knowledge she doesn't have a cat.

How many days until 5/20?
