That happened to me with Trapped in the Drive Thru.

Yeah, I'm one of those guys who really really enjoys Al's songs, but I'm usually not on the ground cracking up over them (ROTFLOL, if you will). However, TINDT had me in stitches when I first heard it. Strangely though, it's not a song that has aged that well for me, probably because of the length and it's not all that fun to sing along to. But that initial listen was probably one of the biggest laughs a single Al song has ever given me. I still think it's a brilliant parody, even if it is more or less a song I have to be in the mood for.

Hmmm...

Dare To Be Stupid was the song that got me through medical school so it has a special meaning to me. That being said, I'd list my favorite originals [in no particular order]:

Frank's 2000" TV; Pancreas [WOW did he get Brian Wilson's sound!]; Skipper Dan [its poignancy, especially]; Theme from Spy Hard; Genius in France

Parodies: SLN [because I thought it was hilarious even before I'd heard the original]; Party in the CIA [and I wish he'd done a live video for that one]; White and Nerdy [because he got the geeky culture down cold]
