I like it! I think it's quite funny, but I don't know where you could get it. I got it from my brother.
"Did you see Journey to the Center of the Earth?"
"I did!"
"Me neither...wait..."
"You had that planned didn't you?"
"..yeah.."

Here's a copy on eBay.

There are no bids yet, but it's early in the auction. I'd jump on that if I were you.

I was one of the fortunate ones to have gotten a copy of it way back when it was still being published. Actually, I got the cassette version originally, and then a few years later accidentally stumbled upon the CD version at a store.

It's a wonderful departure for Al. He does a great job at the storytelling, keeping very close to the original story, while constantly adding his own unique humor throughout. It's a lot of fun to listen to. It would be great if he made more "children's" albums like this one.

In fact, I love the CD so much, I based my screenname on it! :D

I was gonna post the eBay link but deluded myself into thinking that if I didn't nobody else would find it and I'd get a copy for three bucks. :P

I really would love to see a reissue of this; I wonder exactly what legal issues are holding it up (if that is in fact what's holding it up).

It may not be an issue of it being "held up" at all. It's entirely likely that it's not even something CBS cares about reissuing. Since Al's record label doesn't own it, there's not much they or he can do.

That's a shame, because for something that expensive, it's not even that good.

Thankfully I managed to find a copy for only $35 but others aren't that lucky. Then there are lucky bastards who find it in $5 bargain bins... <_<

Thanks for the link. I may put in a bid. How much does it usually go for? I dont want to break the bank! I love the description of it though. I was laughing. I wonder if the seller really is having to get a wisdom teeth surgery? I had one a while ago and it sucked. Anyhow, thanks again for the info!

Guah~! I love Peter and the Wolf. I got one on eBay a while back for 80 dollars, I got Al to sign it just the other day too, it was funny, he asked me where I found it. xD

I got my copy of P&tW signed last year at one of the concerts. Yeah, Al was very surprised to see that little item.
