This is such a fun topic! It's hilarious to see people list my absolute favorite song off an album as one of the ones they like the least. I guess that's the beauty of everyone having their own taste.

Inspired, I must post my own list that some of you can cry, "No, no! That's my favorite!" over. :)

"Weird Al" Yankovic - "Gotta Boogie" - I'm just too refined and dainty for this song.

"In 3D" - "That Boy Could Dance" - kind of forgettable.

"Dare To Be Stupid" - "Girls Just Want to Have Lunch" -- you can tell he hated doing this one.

"Polka Party!" - I really like this album. However, I've never heard "Toothless People", so I'll go with that one. When I hear it, I may have to do this exercise again.

"Even Worse" - This is tough. I'll say "Twister" because I dislike rap. However, it's cute.

"UHF" - Love this album... except for "Isle thing". :)

"Off The Deep End" - Hmm, I'll also go for "When I Was Your Age" because I think Monty Python did it better.

"Alapalooza" - "Bedrock Anthem" because I hate the original song.

"Bad Hair Day" - "I'm So Sick Of You" - just not funny enough.

"Running With Scissors" - This is impossible. Okay, "Grapefruit Diet" I guess.

"Poodle Hat" - I'll go with "Trash Day" - I dislike the domestic arguing-- far too realistic!

"Straight Outta Lynwood" - "I'll Sue Ya" -- it's just too loud. Did I mention I'm a delicate flower?

Let's see how much I've changed since December....

WAY: Buckingham Blues/Such a Groovy Guy (Generic Blues reigns supreme against Buckingham. You're such a groovy guy, Al! We get it!)

3D: The Brady Bunch. Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of the original song, but I never really liked this one.

DTBS: GJWHAL (Kinda bland and not really that funny. Maybe a chuckle or two)

PP!: Polka Party. It's pretty stale compared to Hooked on Polkas & Polkas on 45. If you want a "song", I'd have to say Don't Wear Those Shoes.

EW: Twister. It seems too much like album filler to me.

UHF: Isle Thing, another song I don't really find funny.

OTDE: Taco Grande. Not even Cheech can save this one for me.

Alapalooza: Harvey the Wonder Hamster. It's a great song/theme, but being "filler" doesn't really make it all that great. Again, if you want an actual "song", it'd be She Never Told Me She Was A Mime.

BHD: Phony Calls/Syndicated Inc (Both are songs that I don't really find funny...at all.)

RWS: The impossible choice for so many of us. By default, I'm going to have to say The Weird Al Show Theme. See Alapalooza for explanation.

PH: Party at the Leper Colony. Ha ha. Lepers. That's hilarious....

SOL: Pretty hard choice, but I'm gonna have to say I'll Sue Ya. It's pretty much the "list" song of the album.

I always thought the body part puns in P@TLC were pretty clever, and I kind of liked the musical style. Also, I'll Sue Ya is a does not "list" so much as another song (Syndicated Inc.). It's actually funny too.

WAY: Such A Groovy Guy
In 3D: That Boy Could Dance
DTBS: Cable TV
PP: One Of Those Days
EW: Twister
UHF: Attack Of The Radioactive Hamsters From A Planet Near Mars
OTDE: The Plumbing Song
Alapalooza: She Never Told Me She Was A Mime
BHD: I'm So Sick Of You
RWS: The Weird Al Show Theme
PH: Trash Day
SOL: Pancreas

This is the reason I love this thread! Wow, how everyone's taste varies. I think with Al's songs it could either be the music (a style one doesn't particularly care for) or the words (a topic that just doesn't work for the listener, for whatever reason). It really doesn't indicate that the song itself is weak.

For example-- just to borrow off the last two posters (thank you!), my view is:

WAY-buckingham blues - Love this

3d-Nature Trail to Hell - Love this

DTBS-George of the Jungle - fond memories

PP-Here's Johnny - Love this

even worse-you make me - Love this

uhf-spam - Love this

OTDE-trigger happy - Love this

Al - Harvey The Wonder Hamster - extremely cute

Bhd-SI/Phony Calls - I like both of these

RWS truck drivin song - Love this

(I agree with the weak choice for PH)

SOL - Weasel Stomping Day - while not my favorite, earns points for cutting cynicism

Since I have added two more CDs to the collection, I thought I would revise mine:

In 3-D: Mr. Popeil
Polka Party: Toothless People
Even Worse: Twister
Off The Deep End: The Plumbing Song(gads I hate this one)
Alapalooza: She Never Told Me She Was a Mime
Bad Hair Day: Phony Calls
Running with Scissors: IMO not a clunker on this album but will go with TWAS theme although I like it
Poodle Hat: Genius In France
SOL: I will say Trapped although I like the song
Is my dude a dweeb?

"Weird Al" Yankovic - Ricky - I'm too young and hip to know the show. i had to google before i got it. :P

In 3D - That Boy Could Dance - meh.

Dare To Be Stupid - this is the life- i like this album, this is my least favourite.

Polka Party! - here's jhonny- just not one of my favourites.

Even Worse - Stuck in a Closet with Vanna White- i like this song, but the others are better.

UHF - Money for Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies* same reason as ricky.

Off The Deep End - Airline Amy

Alapalooza - Achy Breaky Song- not a fan of the original song

Bad Hair Day - Syndicated Inc

Running With Scissors - Grapefruit Diet- this is a good album!

Poodle Hat - this IS hard.. couch potato.

Straight Outta Lynwood- do i creep you out- kind of seemed "unfinished"

Was just wondering as to why you thought it was unfinished.
